This issue is packed with translated lit, topical nonfiction, and of course, diverse rep all around, BUT allow me to continue tooting the horn of the Trans Rights Readathon, which, if you are reading this on the Monday it gets published, BEGINS TOMORROW!
You can join us in participating to it in 3 simple steps:
Get your wonderful self down to the nearest library or independent bookshop, and pick up as many books written by and/or featuring Trans people as you want/can! Get a friendly librarian or bookseller to recommend you some, or, if that is not an option for you, take a look at the ever-growing list of recommendations on the Storygraph challenge!
Pick a cause to support! This can be anything from a large charity organisation to an individual GoFundMe. If you can, pledge to donate money based on how much you read, if you cannot, just share it around! If you need some ideas, TRR’s resource page links to a massive file where you can find organisations to donate to.
And that’s it! We hope to see as many of you doing this as you can. Without further ado, to the books!
